Hi everyone, I'm getting good at being late updating my blog... I'm very sorry about that, but I try my best! The last two weeks have been exciting.
Two weeks ago was kind of a normal week at school, so I figured it would be interesting to show you my weekplan, so you can see how school is here:

So that was my plan for week 6. As I said many times before, we have periods of 1 hours and 15 min. After each period we have either a small break (10-15min) or a longer break (30 min). The longer break is from 10.45 to 11.15 and counts as our lunchbreak (very early, I know). The most things are blue colored, that means that we just have a normal class, if they're green it means that teachers might have switched a period with another teacher, if they're red, they're cancelled and we don't have to be there. But as you can see on Wednesday (Onsdag) in the first period was out BT (biotechnology) period cancelled, but our English teacher put his period on that time, so we had to be at school at 8, but were early off. (Does that even make sense?). One more thing might be the grey period, that means that I was absent for that period. So as you can tell, every teacher takes absence every period. The upper row are "notifications" for the whole school. On Tuesday (Tirsdag) for example, you can see "fællesmøde", that is an assembly with the whole school where we get informations for the week (= titularismoment, but with the whole school).
Oh yeah, the symbols in the periods themself, are if there are any documents attached, a note for the period or homework.
Besides that, week 28 was just kind of a normal week at school, and nothing special happened. Oh well, I got lost on Monday. We were off at 2 and I thought "hey, I don't want to walk home, let's take the bus!" so I got outside and took the bus to the train station, where I had to switch busses. So far, so good. But then... There is this app you can use to figure out what bus you have to take, so of course I used that. I got on a bus, of which I thought was the correct bus, since it was that bus that the app said I had to take. Soooo the bus began driving and driving ... and driving. And it didn't stop ANYWHERE. For one reason or another I couldn't find a "STOP"-button in the bus, to let the driver know that I wanted to get off. Eventually the bus stopped about 4 km further than my house, because other people had to get ON the bus. I jumped of the bus and there I stood, in the middle of Horsensvej. I tried calling Kristiane, but she was still in school, so she couldn't pick up the phone to help me. I felt kind of lost and really stood there thinking "what have I done", haha. But thank god Kristiane did text me back and we tried figuring out together what the best way to get home was. I was relieved when I finally was home again.
Oh yeah, Kristiane got a new bike (and was very proud of it, and couldn't wait until it came):
You'll meet the new bike in the next video, no worries.
The rest of the week was a normal week. On Friday evening Mette and Mathias came over because we would be leaving on Saturday. Friday evening the whole family came to eat.
On Saturday we woke up early, packed the last of our bags and drove to Billund! Well, Andreas and our aunt drove us to Billund. Then we got on a plane and a little hour later we arrived in snowy Austria! After we landed, we had a 1.30 hour drive to our hotel, when we arrived there, our guide was waiting for us. We got some informations, got our rooms and went eating! The first day on the pistes we had a snowstorm, like literally we couldn't see a thing! It wasn't even fun. We went home after an hour or two, because it wasn't fun at all. We went back to the hotel and relaxed by the pool.
The next day we had a snowstorm again, but we got kind of used to it and Mathias and I did a lot of stuff and got to know the area a bit better. We were very lucky to be in such a big area! Well the day after we got blue skies and Mathias and I decided to discover the area a bit more aaaand got kind of lost... ("This is our last video..."). We eventually found the way home again, after a loooong day! At the end of the day I could feel my legs were kind of hurting, and that was proven when I took my skiboots off. My shins were quite swollen and it hurt. Even though it hurt, I skied the other days as well. It was lovely being in such a good and big area, with such beautiful weather. In the evenings we mostly sat in the bar downstairs, drank the day's cocktail and played card or board games (= HYGGE).
Here are some more pictures of our trip:
You can expect a lot of skiing footage in my January/February video! I would like to thank my lovely host family for this AMAZING holiday! We had a lot of fun and it was great!
Saturday we were back home around 4 o'clock. We didn't really do much. On Sunday, Silje came over for the day and she got a loooot of attention, which she was very happy with. Oh yeah, we also watched Frozen, again. She got kind of confused when I started singing along to all the songs. I'm sorry, Silje. We also had a bit of webcam-fun!
I hope you all have had great breaks, or have a great break now, wherever you live!
Loooots of loves and see you on Saturday (if I have exciting things to tell... jk I'll be on time!)
Justine
P.S.: Keep an eye on my YouTube channel, I might upload a cheeky video one of the coming days ;) xx
