Hey, there! (Uge 10, 11, 12 & 13)

First of all I would like to say that a the reason I've not updated any of my social media over the last few weeks is because my loving host dad Kim died on October 1st. The past few weeks have been a struggle, but that's how it goes. I'd rather not talk about it too much, so I'd appreciate it if you would respect that choice...

Heeeeey there again! Since there have been a lot of things going on over the past few weeks, I didn't really keep track of what I have been doing! I'll just write about the things I can remember! I UPLOADED MY SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER VLOG! WATCH IT HERE:

So last time I uploaded a video of my 9th week and at the end I told you that I was about to leave for Signe's birthday party! AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! We played games, sung and danced!

The next Saturday we had a very 'hyggelig' evening with Line and Christina at Line's house. They made food for Signe and I! We had lasagna and a delicious lemon-cheese-thing for dessert! We also drank some wine and played some games (no we did not drink all of those bottles, we just liked the wine so much, we went back to the shop to buy some more bottles for other occasions (they were on sale)):

Then there was a day Signe, Marianne and I went to the flower center to buy some flowers and I tried to fit in a car thingy and we decided to put stickers on our foreheads... 'Cuz we can. Also on this day we had the lovely news that Sascha and Andreas got their new baby! Little Vigga was born on the 6th of October and she's doing all good! (AND SHE IS SUPER CUTE, I CAN'T!)

After that week it was fallbreak, so Marianne, Signe and I decided to go to Copenhagen for a few days. Together with Mette and Mathias, we explored the city!
The first day we were there, we decided to go to Tivoli, which is an amusement park in the middle of Copenhagen, since it was October, it was all Halloween-themed!

We went on a lot of rides, and enjoyed the beautifulness of the sunset! I'd strongly recommend to go to Tivoli and stay until it's evening, because they turn all the lights on and it's just sooo pretty!

The next day we went into inner-Copenhagen and took a boat tour, the following pictures are Nyhavn, the little mermaid (taken from the boat) and a beautiful piece of art in CPH:

On Tuesday we went to Christiania, which is a "city" in Copenhagen... It has its own laws and rules, I believe... It was founded in 1971 by some people that started living in abandoned houses and it started growing (kind of...). It's kind of difficult to explain and you're not allowed to take pictures in there, so if you're interested: GO LOOK IT UP!

From Tuesday evening to Saturday I was at Regitze's house, who is a friend of mine that lives in Copenhagen! We had a lovely week with a lot of laughs and cries, BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! We didn't really do much other than watch movies and lay in bed! But that's all I needed! And yes I did cry when I had to leave on Saturday (what did you expect?).

I'm going to school again since Monday, but Tuesday I had to go to the doctors and left school early and after that I hung around Vejle a little and bought some stuff for my room... Oh yeah... Christmas stuff, because all the stores start putting in Christmassy things and it's all so CUTE! So yes... I decorated my room, with Christmas things... Cause it's October!

Today, Kristiane and AC came home with me and we ate romkugler (which is a chocolate ball thingy that bakers make of cake-leftovers) and hindbærsnitte (which also is a pastry kind of thingy) and drank tea and vi hyggede os!
Fall also hit Denmark quite beautifully, so we were enjoying the woods a lot today while walking home with all the pwetty leaves! (And yes we made a picture of our feet...)

Tomorrow all our classes are cancelled, so we don't have to go to school! I'm going to Hamburg for the weekend to see my parents. We agreed that was a good idea after the things that happened. NO WORRIES I'M NOT GOING BACK TO BELGIUM! I'LL BE BACK IN DENMARK AFTER THE WEEKEND!
Obviously, I'm not going to review my stay in Hamburg in my next blogpost, but I will be doing 'normal' blogposts weekly from now on!

I would like to thank all of the people that have supported me over the last few weeks.

Love,
Justine
