Another week & MIDTVEJS SEMINAR! (Uge 17)

Hi y'all, yet another busy week has passed!

On Monday and Tuesday we had days at school, where we had the same subject all day. So on Monday we had Math all day and on Tuesday we had Danish all day. YAY AND NAY!

On Monday evening, as always, gymnastics. We weren't in our usual venue, so we didn't have all our equipment. So we worked on other stuff! (Maybe I need to take some pictures from practice...)

On Tuesday evening, we went to our knitting course, and this is what that looks like:

I'm currently knitting a back infinity scarf... It's going to take me loooong time to make it!

From Wednesday on, we had normal days of school again. On Wednesday we had idræt (L.O., voor de belgen, moesten jullie dat vergeten zijn) and we had to do the Bib-test :( . Y'all know that me and sports don't go together and especially not when it's running...
Wednesday evening we went to Andreas' en Sascha's and ate there. (Their kids are so cute, I still can't.)

On Thursday we had another day at school, but we had "a lot of" (2 periods) biotechnology, so that happened. Karoline and I also went to the toilet and we found shoes... BECAUSE THAT'S TOTALLY NORMAL IN DENMARK (just kidding). After school, Kristiane came home with me and we ate cake and drank coffee/tea. Does that surprise you?

On Friday, we had another day of just 4 periods and after school, I went to H&M with Karoline, because next Friday we have a school party which is Christmas themed. Eventually I didn't buy anything and had to rush home to pack my bags for MIDTVEJS!

Yesyes, we had a weekend with all the exchange students in Odense and it was AWESOME! It was sooooo nice to see everyone back and we had a lot of different workshops and sessions where we could talk about how things are going! It's so comforting to know that there are always people willing to help and listen. So therefore, shoutout to all the volunteers that were there!

(We also ate cake.)

Aaaaand Regitze was there as well!

Now it's Monday and I'm at school (I HAVE A FREE PERIOD, I'M NOT BLOGGING IN CLASS, NO WORRIES).
I hope y'all are doing great, for the Belgians: HET IS BIJNA SINTERKLAAS! And for all my exchange students and Danes: IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!

Oh that's not the same thing btw...

Love,
Justine

Busiest week EVER! (Uge 16)

Okaaaay, this was the busiest week I've had so far (since I actually did stuff), so let's get started!

On Monday, we had a 'normal' day of school, but our French period was cancelled, so we kind off had a gap in between our periods. But it was all good!
After school Kristiane came over because we had a Math assignment due that evening... Some things went really well, others were a little bit more tricky! In the end we were so tired, we just stopped! In the evening I had gymnastic practice and you know, it was one of these days that in the beginning everything went suuuuuper great but in the end I couldn't even walk normally anymore. Does that make any sense? (I should probably not watch Danmarks næste topmodel while writing a blogpost)

On Tuesday I was off at 13.55 as usual and after that I went to Domus (Ungdomsskole, like a Youth-school-kind-of-thingy), because there was a Polish girl that would love to learn Danish and would love to have some Danish friends. I don't really know if I'm the right person, but I agreed anyways! We're going to meet about once a week and I can show her Vejle and (try to) talk Danish to her! In the evening, we had our knitting/crea-workshop again, and we were 4(!) today, so we're growing and it is still soooo much fun!

On Wednesday, I had another 'normal day with gap' and we we're off at 13.55. In the afternoon we had a YFU-meeting with our region and we went bowling and it was suuuuuuper fun! I'm not that good at bowling, so I didn't win, but I didn't lose either, so that's okay! After the bowling we ate burgers all together and we just had a great time!

On Thursday I had to go to Vandel efterskole (a boarding school) and hold presentations all day about Belgium. Since I thought it wasn't that interesting to talk about Belgian history or politics to a bunch of 16 year olds, I talked more about the differences I experienced and my life. (Not that my life is that interesting, but I mean more like my experience in a Belgian school and so on). We were at the efterskole the whole day and got to see their musical as well in the evening! It was so much fun! I also met a lot of new exchange students from other schools.

On Friday I was DAMN TIRED from the past days and I was glad to be home after school and didn't do much. Or if I did something, I can't remember what I did.

On Saturday I slept looooong, but in the afternoon, Marianne and I went to Aarhus, and we walked around, but also went to Aros (a museum). And here are some pictures of that:

Since it's dark early here in Denmark, I made this beautiful picture as well:

Oh and here's another picture from in the museum:

When we got home, I skyped with Io AND THAT WAS SO LONG AGO! We had so much to tell each other and it was great <3

Today is Sunday and I did nothing. You're welcome.

I hope y'all are doing great and having great times wherever you are!

Big loves, hugs and kisses,
Justine

A danish birthday party (Uge 15)

HIIIIIIIIIII EVERYONE WELCOME TO MESS THAT I CALL A BLOG!

This week was just "another" normal week in school, but I did a whole bunch of stuff not in school this week, that you might find interesting!

The week started of with a casual Monday, school from 8 to 13.55 and gymnastics in the evening. I must admit I really LOVE going to school. I've probably said this before, but now I can say it in all honesty, because I know the people better than I did before: SCHOOL IS AWESOME. As said, I had gymnastics on Monday evening but since there was only one trainer for about 25 gymnasts on all different levels, there were some people "playing" trainer and that was actually really fun! I would like to explain what I learned, but nope. Haha, too complicated!

On Tuesday I had a math test in school which was very exciting! We're learning about functions and derivates (is that even the word in English? It is "afgeleiden" in dutch) which is my favorite kind of math. I would say that it is kind of easy for me, since I've had all of this before, but I really like helping the other people in my class! (I got the test back on Wednesday and got a 12, WOOPWOOP!). On Tuesdayevening, Signe, Line and I went to knitting course and we kind of changed it to more of a creative-workshop-thingy, so we're not only knitting! I made some christmas cards and we had a great time! Next week there are even more people coming, so that's going to be fun!

On Wednesday, my first hour was cancelled, so I could sleep a little bit longer! On Wednesday evening we watched Are you the one? with my aunt and one of Signe's friends came over so we played Sequence. I also helped Kristiane with her English assignment!

Thursday was a normal day of school, but after school we were all invited over at Anne's because it was her birthday. So I went to a danish birthdayparty for the very first time and ate lagkage for the first time! And guess what, IT IS DELICIOUS! (Of course it is, it's cake.) It was so hyggeligt!
Here are some pictures (yep, 2) I took at the party:

Friday was a super fun day at school. I don't know why, but I was so giggly all day! After school Kristiane came and we ate some more cake and drank some time and we just had a good time together. Friday evening, Mette and Mathias came over and since it was J-day (the day you can start buying Christmasbeer, if I got it right...), we drank some of that, but we also watched some TV and knitted together!
Today, I was up early and we went into the city to buy some stuff we needed and right now, Andreas, Sascha, Silje and Vigga are over at ours as well, so we're going to have a nice family-day today! (Except for Signe, because she is on a scoutthingy).

As you can see, my weeks have kind of turned to normal again, so I'll be doing regular weekly blogupdates and monthly vlogupdates if I have enough footage.

I hope you all have great times wherever you are and enjoy the fall :)

Love,
Justine

P.S.: some people have told me that they like my weekly video-updates better than regular blogposts? If that's the case, please let me know, so I can do more of those!
